As a member of FCI Group 1 (Sheepdogs and Cattle Dogs), Beaucerons are exceptionally intelligent, hardworking, and devoted. They require ample physical exercise and mental stimulation. They make excellent guard dogs and companions for active individuals.
Health & Genetics
Beaucerons are generally a hardy breed, but larger individuals may be prone to joint dysplasia. Prevention and a high-quality diet are important.
Grooming Needs
Grooming needs depend on the coat type, but generally, regular brushing is required, especially during shedding seasons.
